Project Engineer Role

The Project Engineer position is a dynamic and challenging opportunity for individuals seeking a rewarding career in the instrumentation industry. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing techno-commercial projects and proposals for Rosemount Tank Gauging instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide support to sales offices for efficient project execution.
  • Prepare post-order documentation, including screening customer POs, preparing project documents, resolving customer comments, and submitting orders.
  • Submit project documentation to customers and obtain manufacturing approval.
  • Attend internal meetings to understand customer requirements.
  • Prepare buyout specifications and coordinate with SCM teams for quotes and POs.
  • Develop project schedules and ensure timely completion.
  • Prepare and submit as-built documentation.
  • Maintain logs of key project metrics.

Requirements For Success:

  • 1-4 years of experience in core instrumentation, process industries, EPC companies, or OEMs.
  • Clear understanding of basic working principles of level instruments, pressure, and temperature instruments.
  • Familiarity with instrument data sheets, P&IDs, and specifications.
  • Ability to handle MS Office applications like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Candidates with knowledge of documentation related to post-order activities are preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BE/B.Tech in Instrumentation Engineering from a reputable institute.
  • Post-graduation (ME/M.Tech) in Instrumentation Engineering may also be considered.
