Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical engineering components, including the design and development of SPM. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all designs meet customer specifications and requirements.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing mechanical engineering components, including SPM;
  • Working with cross-functional teams to ensure that all designs meet customer specifications and requirements;
  • Achieving customer specifications and requirements through technical support and collaboration;
  • Offering technical support and working on multiple phases or sub-tasks of projects or entire projects of moderate complexity.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Mechanical engineering or Equivalent with 4 to 10 years of relevant experience;
  • Strong knowledge of automation products, electromechanical/mechatronics concepts, and related technologies;
  • Excellent understanding of customer requirements, feasibility, and optimization;
  • Ability to create, read, and interpret engineering drawings and standards, particularly precision components and fabricated structures;
  • Knowledge of material handling equipment, limits fits and tolerances, GD & T, surface finish, best machining process, heat treatment process, engineering materials, surface treatment, EDM EBM mechatronics, robotics, robot selection, application, and CAD 2D/3D platforms;
  • Good knowledge of DFx (DFM, DFS, DFA...) concepts and SolidWorks software;
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
