Compensation Manager Position

The Compensation Manager is responsible for overseeing end-to-end compensation management to ensure timely and accurate processing of employee salaries, compliance with labor laws, and reporting. They will focus on salary administration, statutory compliance, and payroll-related services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage monthly compensation processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Validate and reconcile inputs such as attendance, leave records, new joiners, exits, salary revisions, and variable pay.
  • Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements (PF, ESI, PT, TDS, gratuity).
  • Handle employee queries related to salary, taxation, and compensation policies.
  • Prepare compensation MIS, reports, and analytics for management review.
  • Stay updated on changes in labor laws, taxation, and statutory compliance.
Requirements:
  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, or HR. MBA/PGDM or CMA/CA preferred.
  • Experience: 7-10 years of compensation management experience, preferably in India.
Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of compensation systems (SAP, ADP etc.).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced formulas, reconciliations).
  • Knowledge of income tax and statutory compliance.
Behavioral Skills:
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
