Senior Statutory Reporting Specialist

Key Responsibilities

  1. Produce and review UK GAAP statutory financial statements, ensuring completeness and accuracy of the ledger and compliance with reporting requirements.
  2. Oversee production and review of the MGG's consolidated IFRS results, including review of BU inputs, eliminations and consolidation adjustments.
  3. Manage the production and review of monthly consolidation for MGG, producing a consolidated income statement and balance sheet.
  4. Conduct analytical review of the financial Statements and ledger reconciliations.
  5. Lead on Group reporting under IFRS, ensuring all reporting and disclosure requirements are met using Tagetik.
  6. Manage the UK Reporting team, providing the necessary support, guidance and leadership to enable the team to achieve their goals.

Accountabilities

  1. Evaluate and implement various potential solutions to reporting questions considering the implications on accounting and reporting requirements.
  2. Collaborate with data providers to meet reporting requirements.
  3. Review of board packs and dashboards for Operational and Executive Committees.
  4. Ensure compliance with current accounting standards (UK GAAP, IFRS) and Group Head Office procedures to maintain a robust financial control regime.
  5. Support the implementation of new accounting standards and contribute to the delivery of other finance change projects.
