Azure Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Azure cloud engineer to manage and support our SAP Business One environments hosted on Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and Support SAP Business One: Manage and support SAP Business One hosted on Azure, including virtual machines, databases, networking, storage, and security.
  • Monitor and Maintain Systems: Perform regular system monitoring, patching, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Manage Azure Resources: Efficiently manage Azure resources to optimize costs and scalability.
  • Implement Disaster Recovery: Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Collaborate with SAP consultants, developers, and business teams to address technical requirements and resolve issues.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with Azure governance, security, and IT best practices.
  • Automate Tasks: Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or related tools where possible.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven Azure Experience: Proven hands-on experience as an Azure administrator (certification preferred).
  • SAP Business One Administration: Practical experience with SAP Business One administration (SQL Server / HANA knowledge beneficial).
  • Azure Expertise: Strong knowledge of Azure IaaS/PaaS services (virtual machines, networking, storage, monitoring, backup).
  • Windows Server Expertise: Expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL Server administration.
  • Troubleshooting Skills: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in cloud environments.
  • Remote Work Experience: Ability to work independently in a remote capacity with flexible availability.

Nice to Have: Familiarity with Azure Security Center, Azure Monitor, and Azure Cost Management; knowledge of SAP Business One integrations with external applications; prior experience in SAP workload migration to Azure; 10+ years of IT experience.
