Senior SAP Java Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SAP Java Expert to lead the upgrade of SAP NetWeaver Java stack from Java 1.6 to 1.8 with full regression testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the upgrade of SAP NetWeaver Java stack from Java 1.6 to 1.8 with full regression testing.
  • Modernize and upgrade Google Web Toolkit (GWT) components.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise engineering and security standards.
  • Implement and manage automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Selenium, Mockito).
  • Design and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
  • Drive Agile delivery with sprint planning, execution, and hardening phases.
  • Track and manage project requirements using JIRA.
  • Mentor and guide development teams for high-quality, timely delivery.
  • Support governance, change management, and stakeholder communication.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with SAP NetWeaver Java stack and upgrade processes.
  • Proficiency in Java 1.6/1.8, including migration and compatibility testing.
  • Hands-on experience with GWT upgrades and debugging.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks.
  • Working knowledge of JIRA for Agile project tracking.
