Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to manage the procurement of automotive parts. The ideal candidate will have excellent coordination skills to manage communication between suppliers, internal teams, and logistics.

The successful candidate will be responsible for requesting quotations, negotiating pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules. They will also issue purchase orders and follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery.

  • Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts
  • Coordinate with inventory and logistics teams for stock levels and inward materials planning
  • Track and resolve supply issues or discrepancies with vendors

The successful candidate will have a strong background in procurement, preferably in the automotive sector, and excellent knowledge of automotive parts, especially for European/Japanese vehicles.

They will possess strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is required.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Request quotations, negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules
  2. Issue purchase orders and follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery
  3. Maintain supplier database and procurement records
  4. Collaborate with the quality and technical teams to ensure parts meet required specifications
  5. Coordinate with inventory and logistics teams for stock levels and inward materials planning
  6. Track and resolve supply issues or discrepancies with vendors
  7. Assist in developing new suppliers and expanding the vendor base
  8. Monitor market trends and maintain cost awareness to ensure competitive pricing
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in purchasing, preferably in the automotive sector
  • Good knowledge of automotive parts (especially for European/Japanese vehicles)
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple supplier accounts
Preferred Qualities:
  • Experience with export-oriented companies or B2B operations
  • Understanding of the export markets is a plus
