AI/ML Solutions Architect

Job Description
The AI/ML Solutions Architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing advanced AI/ML models for computer vision, generative AI, audio processing, predictive analysis, and NLP applications in the Indian Navy. This role requires a deep understanding of algorithm development and model deployment as production-ready products for naval applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and train models using naval-specific data and deliver them in the form of end products.
  • Fine-tune open-source Large Language Models (LLMs) for Navy-specific tasks.
  • Preprocess, label, and augment datasets to ensure high-quality data for model training.
  • Implement quantization, pruning, and compression techniques for deployment-ready AI applications.
  • Develop, train, fine-tune, and optimize LLMs and translation models for mission-critical AI applications of the Indian Navy.
  • Proficiency in building multilingual and domain-specific translation systems using techniques like backtranslation, domain adaptation, and knowledge distillation is essential.
  • Demonstrate practical expertise with libraries such as Hugging Face Transformers, PEFT, Fairseq, and OpenNMT. Knowledge of model compression, quantization, and deployment on GPU-enabled servers is highly desirable.
  • Collaborate with Backend Engineers for integration via standard formats (ONNX, TorchScript).
  • Generate reusable inference modules that can be plugged into microservices or edge devices.
  • Maintain reproducible pipelines (e.g., with MLFlow, DVC, Weights & Biases).

Requirements:
- Proficiency in Python programming language.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Strong understanding of computer vision, generative AI, audio processing, predictive analysis, and NLP concepts.
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
