Design Associate Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Design Associate to support our Head of Design in managing multi-sector design deliverables, ensuring adherence to our playbook, brand standards, and timely execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the creation and periodic updating of our Design Playbook, incorporating lessons learned, benchmark standards, and evolving best practices.
  • Conduct test fits and feasibilities on new land proposals.
  • Lead coordination across consultants and design disciplines.
  • Ensure timely delivery and quality design from concept to GFC.
  • Validate design compliance with branding, standardization, and sustainability benchmarks.
  • Support the implementation of SOPs and version control.
  • Flag deviations and escalating unresolved design issues.
  • Review submissions for technical accuracy and alignment with approved plans.
Growth Alignment:

The Design Associate will act as the central engine driving design standardization, enabling faster rollout across our expansion strategy.

Reporting & Collaboration:

The Design Associate will report to the Head of Design and partner closely with Project Management (PMO), Pre-development, and Construction teams for successful delivery.

Requirements:

8-10 years of experience in design management across Commercial, Residential, or Mixed-use projects.

Strong coordination, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Proven expertise in delivering design projects from inception to completion.

Knowledge of branding, standardization, and sustainability benchmarks.
