Job Title: Test Engineering Specialist

 

Detailed Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Test Engineering Specialist.

This role involves developing and implementing test architectures for complex System-on-Chip (SoC) designs. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Design-for-Test (DFT) methodologies, including scan insertion and verification, Automatic Test Pattern Generation (ATPG), Memory Built-In Self-Test (MBIST), and JTAG / Boundary Scan.

The selected candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and deliver DFT solutions that meet the highest quality standards. This includes automating repetitive tasks using scripting languages like Python, Perl, and TCL to improve efficiency and reduce errors.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define and implement DFT architectures for complex SoCs.

- Plan and execute scan, ATPG, MBIST, and boundary scan insertion and validation.

- Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce errors.

- Collaborate with junior engineers to provide technical guidance and mentorship.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Strong understanding of DFT architectures and methodologies.

- Experience with industry-standard DFT tools and methodologies from Cadence, Synopsys, and Mentor Graphics.

- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Perl, and TCL.

- Solid understanding of SoC design cycle, RTL to GDSII flow, and test requirements.
