Software Engineer Leader

We are a pioneering organization in the AI-driven e-commerce space, focusing on transforming complex challenges into robust systems with real-world impact.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for building the foundational technical capabilities - designing and implementing initial versions of complex systems, then scaling them into reusable patterns as the team grows.

  • Create cutting-edge AI platform features: prompt orchestration, data retrieval, function calling, streaming interfaces, and evaluation frameworks.
  • Develop high-performance content processing pipelines: ingestion, storage, delivery, with monitoring and cost optimization.
  • Design identity, privacy, and trust solutions: consent-based workflows, secure tokenization, rate limiting, audit trails, and abuse prevention measures.
  • BUILD scalable data platforms: normalize external data, model entities/relationships, and expose clean APIs.
  • Deploy reliable product surfaces: Flutter applications (buyer/seller) and ReactJS dashboards with performance and reliability targets.
  • Establish operational excellence: monitoring, alerting, automated testing, incident response playbooks, and a sustainable release cadence.

  • Admin & Seller Web: ReactJS.
  • Cloud: AWS (EC2, RDS, S3).
  • AI Tooling: OpenAI/Anthropic APIs, vector search (pgvector/Pinecone), LangChain/LlamaIndex.
Requirements

You must have:

  • 6-10+ years of experience leading production system development as the primary architect.
  • Hands-on experience with Java + Spring Boot, plus proficiency in Python.
  • Exposure to Flutter or ReactJS in production environments.
  • Strong systems thinking: data modeling, performance optimization, failure management.
  • Security & privacy expertise: PII handling, consent flows, audit trails.
  • Excellent written communication skills: clear documentation, READMEs, and runbooks.
