The Hosteller, a leading backpacker hostel/hotel chain in India, seeks an experienced and seasoned legal professional to join its team. This role requires strong expertise in corporate and commercial law, with a focus on the real estate and hospitality sectors.
About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated individual who can provide expert advice and guidance on various aspects of corporate and commercial law, including contract negotiations, litigation management, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Management: Develop, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other documents related to hotel operations, including lease deeds, confidentiality agreements, MOUs/LOIs, term sheets, notices, and other ancillary contracts.
- Litigation Management: Assist in coordinating responses and settlements of legal disputes, including debt recovery, breach of contract, court litigation, and arbitration.
- Compliance and Regulatory: Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, land acquisition laws, industrial relations, government liaisoning, and operating licensing regulations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law (LLM) from a reputable university.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in corporate and commercial law, preferably in the real estate and hospitality sectors.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Strong research and verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluency in English and Hindi (spoken and written).
What We Offer:
In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary package that includes:
$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
