PostgreSQL Database Administrator

We are seeking an experienced PostgreSQL database administrator to join our team. As a PostgreSQL DBA, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and scalability of our database infrastructure.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in PostgreSQL database administration.
  • Mandatory skills: PostgreSQL databases.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our organization. As a PostgreSQL DBA, you will be responsible for:

  1. Aiding the consulting team in different phases of the project, including problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation, and design and deployment.
  2. Exploring alternatives to recommended solutions based on research, literature surveys, and information available in public domains.
  3. Building proof-of-concepts (POCs) to demonstrate the effectiveness of proposed solutions.
  4. Creating requirement specifications from business needs, defining to-be-processes, and developing detailed functional designs.
  5. Configuring solution requirements on products, diagnosing issues, and identifying solution alternatives.
  6. Contributing to unit-level and organizational initiatives to provide high-quality value-added solutions to customers.
