Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned Automation Architect to lead our team's automated testing initiatives. As an Automation Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust automated testing solutions using various tools and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement automated testing solutions utilizing Selenium, UFT, SOAP UI, and other industry-standard tools.
- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and tools, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Contribute to the design architecture of automation projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive project success.
- Promote QA productivity through automation tools and best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Assist in ongoing process improvement efforts to ensure effective and efficient test planning, execution, and reporting.
- Lead the definition, implementation, and maintenance of standard test automation processes, methodologies, tools, and templates.
- Work closely with teams on automation strategy and toolkit selection, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Perform code reviews and verify coding standards are being met, maintaining high-quality codebases.
- Collaborate with peer discipline leads in Development, QA, and Project Management to drive organizational excellence.
- Mentor junior and senior software quality engineers, providing guidance and support for professional growth.
- Experience with RESTful, SOAP, Webservices, Groovy, BDD Tools like JBehave or Cucumber, CI Tools like Jenkins, Database testing, Built tools like Gradle or Maven is highly desirable.
- Excellent oral and written communication, documentation skills are essential.
- Experience working with geographically dispersed teams is a significant advantage.
- Customer-facing experience is mandatory.
