Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill a senior role in our KYC team.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

About the Role:

  • You will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, prioritizing tasks, monitoring progress, and updating stakeholders.
  • You will also act as a Checker for assigned processes, ensuring timely completion with good quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the KYC book of work by consolidating data and prioritizing requests from various stakeholders.
  2. Liaise with departments and internal stakeholders to create collaborative work relationships.
  3. Be actively involved in local and global projects, representing the KYC Team to respective Project Management teams.
  4. Work with stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities, propose system modifications, and devise data governance strategies.
  5. Handle escalations promptly and provide resolution of issues without delay.
  6. Act as a KYC knowledge center to the team and resolve queries pertaining to high-risk profiles.
  7. Interpret regulatory/policy changes and communicate their implications to the team.
  8. Ensure implementation and adherence to audit and compliance requirements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6-9 years of post-qualification relevant work experience within Banking and Financial Services industry.
  • 4+ years of team handling experience and data management (preferable).
  • Experience in KYC Onboarding/renewals handling Oceania Market.
  • Global project and change management experience in Banking or Risk or Compliance domain are preferred.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates with internal partners to obtain required information and documentation.
  • Initiates and completes high-quality KYC files inclusive of data input, research, and analysis.
  • Maintain detailed tracking of KYC file status and other customer record activities.
  • Independently manage multiple simultaneous requests in a high-pressure work environment.
