Senior Product Development Specialist

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in computer-aided design (CAD) with expertise in Creo and a solid understanding of part design, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), and standards for plastic design.
They will have experience working with plastic tool makers and injection molders to ensure design for manufacture requirements are met.
The candidate should be skilled in concept generation and creative problem-solving, with the ability to effectively work with cross-functional stakeholders.
Experience in designing electromechanical enclosures and knowledge of good design practices are also essential.
Additionally, the candidate should have expertise in design for manufacturability (DFM), design for assembly (DFA), and mechanical engineering design and analysis skills, including structural analysis of molded parts.
Demonstrated proficiency in rapid prototyping and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively are highly valued.
- 5+ years of experience in CAD design
- Highly proficient in Creo
- Expertise in part design, GD&T, and SPI standards for plastic design
- Experience working with plastic tool makers and injection molders
- Skilled in concept generation and creative problem-solving
- Experience in designing electromechanical enclosures
