Job Title:

Formulation Development and Research Leader

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Optimize manufacturing processes for regulated markets with speed and efficiency.
  • Evaluate processes using Design of Experiments (DoE) and Quality by Design (QbD) to define design space and control strategy.
  • Select suitable manufacturing sites based on formulation complexity.
  • Lead technology transfer functions with project management skills to scale-up new products effectively.
  • Develop procedures for smooth product transfers between development and manufacturing, ensuring accurate filings and successful launches.
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in pharmaceutical processes, providing guidance in tech transfer, troubleshooting, and investigations.
  • Define and implement standards for formulation technology transfer.
  • Initiate capacity enhancement, cost reduction, and time cycle reduction projects.
  • Review and approve departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP).

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Expertise in formulation development with strong knowledge of process optimization.
  • Hands-on experience in technology transfer and scale-up.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory guidelines.
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
  • Project management and cross-functional coordination.
