Software Developer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled software developer with a strong foundation in build tools and a passion for automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for migrating our existing Ant-based build system to either Maven or Gradle, while preserving the current project structure. Additionally, they will be instrumental in establishing a robust CI/CD pipeline within GitHub to streamline our development and deployment processes.

  • Job Responsibilities:
  • Build Tool Migration: Conduct a thorough analysis of the current Ant build system to identify dependencies, tasks, and project structure.
  • Migrate the build system to either Maven or Gradle, ensuring minimal disruption to the development workflow.
  • Maintain the existing project structure for compiled and built files to avoid compatibility issues.
  • Optimize the build process for performance and efficiency.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Implementation: Design and implement a comprehensive CI/CD pipeline using GitHub Actions.
  • Integrate the CI/CD pipeline with the chosen build tool (Maven or Gradle).
  • Implement automated testing, code quality checks, and deployment stages.
  • Configure pipeline triggers and notifications for effective collaboration.
  • Java Development: Contribute to the development and maintenance of Java-based applications.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code.
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure project success.
