**Job Title:** Software Quality Assurance Professional

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software applications by identifying and reporting defects, as well as participating in the development of test plans and scripts.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct various tests and analyses to ensure that systems and/or applications meet or exceed specified standards and end-user requirements
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to understand business and functional requirements to develop test plans, test cases, and scripts
  • Identify defects and recommend appropriate course of action, including root cause analysis
  • Coordinate multiple testers and testing activities within a project
  • Retest after corrections are made to ensure problems are resolved
  • Document, evaluate, and research test results for future replication
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 6-8 years of testing experience within the Financial Services industry
  • Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies
  • Knowledge of relevant operating systems, languages, and database tools
  • Knowledge of defect tracking systems and processes, including change management
  • Knowledge of automated regression testing tools
  • Bachelor's University degree or equivalent experience
