About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to undertake Telecom Infrastructure installation and maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will have expertise in fibre/copper termination, patching and testing.

Responsibilities:

  • Cable termination and patching as per standard procedures
  • Knowledge of power cable termination for AC & DC power cables
  • Fibre optic testing and analysis using OTDR and other tools
  • Installation of network equipment and servers
  • Identification and replacement of faulty components such as SFPs, patch cords or transceivers

Key Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent knowledge of fibre/copper infrastructure and related technologies
  • Ability to work with low current electrical systems
  • Strong technical skills, including troubleshooting and problem-solving
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and reports
