Lead Data Scientist - AI Innovation Leader

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Lead Data Scientist to head our AI and Machine Learning initiatives.

This role is ideal for a professional who can drive innovation in Classical Machine Learning, Conversational AI, and Deep Learning Systems while also providing technical leadership and strategic direction to a team of data scientists.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing model development, optimizing AI-driven solutions, mentoring junior team members, and collaborating with key stakeholders to align AI strategies with business goals.

Responsibilities include defining and driving the AI/ML strategy, leading research and design of cutting-edge machine learning and deep learning models, establishing best practices for data pipelines and feature engineering, and architecting and implementing Generative AI solutions.

The ideal candidate should possess deep expertise in NLP, Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, and MLOps to lead the development of scalable AI-driven solutions.

Required skills and qualifications include proficiency in Classical ML and Deep Learning, experience working with GPT, BERT, T5, and Hugging Face Transformers, and strong programming skills in Python, PyTorch, and TensorFlow.

Additionally, the successful candidate should have a strong understanding of APIs, CI/CD pipelines for ML models, containerization, and model monitoring.

Soft skills required include strong leadership skills, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills to effectively convey complex AI concepts to business stakeholders.

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and AI-driven applications.
