Job Title: Shift Manager

At our company, we are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Shift Manager to join our team.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations of our data center, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our facilities. This includes overseeing maintenance activities, tracking complaints, and implementing corrective actions to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

We are seeking an individual with a strong technical background, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and have at least 7+ years of experience in the data center industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the shift team and ensure timely execution of planned and unplanned activities with effective communication.
  2. Track and close complaints within SLA deviations.
  3. Implement incident management and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) with timely closure and periodic review of RCA recommendations.
  4. Manage assets, including warranty, AMC, lifecycle, and capacity management.
  5. Track and complete 5 PPM activities with timely TAT and ensure 100% equipment availability.
  6. Manage vendors with RAT and TAT on complaints and ensure uptime of redundant equipment.
Requirements:
  • Electrical/Mechanical Engineering degree.
  • Proven work experience in the data center industry.
  • Solid technical background with hands-on experience in data center infrastructure.
  • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
