Job Title: Senior Test Automation Architect

Description: ValGenesis is seeking an experienced Senior Test Automation Architect to drive the automation strategy and develop robust test frameworks for our next-generation cloud products. As a Senior Test Automation Architect, you will lead the design and architecture of automated testing frameworks for various application platforms, including web and mobile. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless integration of automation in the development lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include establishing and maintaining best practices for test automation and quality assurance processes, mentoring and guiding team members in test automation practices and frameworks, defining and tracking key performance metrics for testing efforts, and staying updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and architecture of automated testing frameworks for various application platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless integration of automation in the development lifecycle.
  • Establish and maintain best practices for test automation and quality assurance processes.
  • Mentor and guide team members in test automation practices and frameworks.
  • Define and track key performance metrics for testing efforts.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in software testing and automation with a strong focus on automation frameworks and strategy.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as C#, Python, or Java.
  • Extensive experience in UI and API testing, along with performance and security testing methodologies.
  • Strong expertise in building and implementing scalable automation frameworks, preferably using open-source tools.
  • Experience with Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD methodologies to facilitate integrated testing efforts.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a deep understanding of software development lifecycles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
