This is a senior level role that involves leading multiple scrum teams in delivering projects using Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure effective and efficient Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, Sprint Demos and sprint retrospectives keeping the overall business value at the core.
- Understand technical dependencies and functional value of features to plan sprints effectively.
- Support Product Owners and Business Analysts in refining and managing the product backlog.
- Facilitate discussion, decision making, conflict resolution and build high performing teams.
- Track and communicate project progress to stakeholders and collect metrics using tools like Burndowns and JIRA dashboards.
- IDentify and control project risks through prevention, mitigation and contingencies.
- Apply project estimation techniques such as WBS, FP etc.
- Have proficiency in JIRA, Confluence and other tools.
- Demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills with ability to teach/mentor and learn from others.
- Knowledge of technology, third party products and their products.
- Experience working with multicultural teams in diverse environments.
- Experience in cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP and AWS.
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience handling multiple scrum teams.
- 3+ years experience in Agile software development.
- Formal Scrum master qualification or accreditation.
- Previous experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Strong servant leadership and negotiation skills.
- Experience managing both product development and/or professional services teams.
- Working experience with European/USA clients.
- Advanced skills in Jira and Confluence.
