Business Development Manager - B2C Sales

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to drive B2C sales in the South Indian market. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the EdTech industry and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Research & Analysis: Identify and evaluate potential markets and opportunities in the South Indian region, focusing on the B2C segment.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and increase market share in the B2C space.
  • Client Acquisition & Management: Identify, approach, and acquire new clients, ensuring a strong pipeline of potential customers. Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients.
  • Revenue Generation: Drive revenue growth by achieving and exceeding sales targets, with a focus on expanding the company's reach in the South Indian market.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product, and customer support teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and to align business strategies.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Regularly report on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to senior management.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, specifically in B2C sales within the EdTech industry.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Sales Acumen: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and persuade clients.
  • Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the South Indian education market and consumer behavior.
  • Tech Savvy: Familiarity with CRM software, sales tools, and EdTech platforms.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and team members.
