Job Title: Head - Healthcare - India

BSI is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Healthcare Sector team in India. As Head - Healthcare - India, you will be responsible for developing and growing BSI's services in the healthcare sector, providing technical support, and ensuring compliance with accreditation and scheme rules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies for the growth of BSI's services in the healthcare sector.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal stakeholders on GMP, compliance, and related regulations.
  • Lead the development of standard operating procedures, checklists, and training materials for the healthcare sector.
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop BSI Assessors and Tutors to ensure capacity and capability building in the healthcare sector.
  • Conduct onsite assessments and training activities, both public and in-house, to ensure compliance with ISO standards and client-specific requirements.
  • Identify potential markets and opportunities for BSI services in the healthcare sector.
  • Responsible for the creation, deployment, and implementation of the healthcare industry scorecard.
  • Ensure maintenance and accreditation of the healthcare sector.
  • Act as the primary contact with accreditation bodies regarding healthcare schemes.
Candidate Specifications:
  • Recognized University degree or higher (or equivalent certification or work experience).
  • Minimum of 100% travel to and from clients, including land and air travel.
  • Experience in conducting and delivering assessments, including GMP/Compliance, and experience with healthcare/pharmaceutical production and development processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of specific GMP, AMT, HSE topics, such as Industrial Hygiene, Biological or Chemical Hazard, Hazardous Waste Management, and Process Safety Management, together with the associated regulatory environment required.
  • Experienced presenter who is able to deliver training for in-house/public training courses.
