Job Title:

Strategic Investment Manager

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for executing the investment strategy across climate-aligned sectors, including energy transition, clean tech, sustainable manufacturing, and mobility. This will involve identifying and evaluating healthcare-related investment opportunities through industry networks, deal intermediaries, and research. Additionally, the role will require supporting evaluation, financial modeling, structuring, and documentation of deals, as well as working with cross-functional teams and advisors during due diligence.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deal Sourcing: Identify and evaluate healthcare-related investment opportunities.
  2. Deal Structuring & Execution: Support evaluation, financial modeling, structuring, and documentation of deals.
  3. Carbon Impact Evaluation: Integrate emissions impact analysis and climate risk assessments into investment decision-making.
  4. Portfolio Management: Work closely with portfolio companies to implement carbon reduction strategies and performance monitoring tools.
  5. Value Creation: Identify operational efficiency, innovation, and sustainability levers to create long-term value in portfolio companies.
  6. Exit Planning: Contribute to exit strategy planning and execution through IPOs, strategic sales, or secondary transactions.
  7. Due Diligence: Participate in technical, financial, legal due diligence processes ensuring alignment with regulatory and climate compliance requirements.
  8. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across investment cycles, including transition and physical climate risks.
  9. Market Intelligence: Stay updated on healthcare trends, emerging technologies, and evolving policy frameworks to support investment theses.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of investment strategy and execution.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in deal sourcing, structuring, and execution.
  • Knowledge of carbon impact evaluation and risk management principles.
  • Portfolio management experience preferred.
