The role of a Senior Project Manager is pivotal in the execution and delivery of projects within set timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Oversees project scope development, Gantt chart creation, budgeting, and safety plan implementation in conjunction with relevant stakeholders to deliver projects on schedule.
  • MIS Reporting: Provides regular MIS reports to senior management regarding engineering, design, and project execution progress.
  • Process Improvements: Identifies areas for process enhancements, develops SOPs/Checklists, policies, and optimizes resources to drive change initiatives forward.
  • Design and Engineering Support: Offers technical support for distributed projects, ensuring seamless coordination between teams.
  • Cost Optimisation: Closely monitors major costs to guarantee cost-effective project delivery.
  • Project Documentation: Maintains accurate records of all projects in designated platforms.
Coordination and Vendor Management:
  • Internal Coordination: Collaborates with sales team to understand client requirements, resolves commercial/SOW related issues proactively, and coordinates with the purchase team for timely material dispatch to sites.
  • External Coordination: Supports project team in resolving site/client related issues, works with Asset Management team for smooth handover of projects as per guidelines, and ensures timely clearance of observations.
  • Vendor Management: Manages vendor relationships, ensures ESG compliance, builds processes for delivering high-quality projects, and provides necessary safety training to vendors.
