Computer Applications Education Leadership Position

The Head of Department (BCA) plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of computer applications education at our institution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Vision: Develop and implement initiatives that align with industry trends and student needs, fostering collaboration and driving student success.
  • Department Oversight: Effectively manage department resources, oversee student advising, and ensure efficient operation within the department.
  • Faculty Development: Foster a positive learning environment, motivating staff to drive excellence and efficiency.
  • Program Enhancement: Develop and implement strategies to enhance student learning outcomes, ensuring program effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • A Master's degree in Computer Science and Application or Information Technology, or a related field (Ph.D./NET/SET preferred).
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience teaching at the undergraduate level in computer applications.
  • Prior leadership experience within a higher education institution is highly desirable.
  • A strong understanding of current trends and best practices in computer applications education.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
