US Financial Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional to manage end-to-end U.S. accounting operations and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and process weekly timesheets & client invoices in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of payroll/accounting data to stakeholders.
- Prepare regular & ad-hoc reports in QuickBooks, utilizing advanced features and functionality.
- Manage and reconcile AP/AR accounts, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist with GL entries, reconciliations, and month-end close, providing support for financial statement preparation.
- Support financial statement prep in line with U.S. GAAP, maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Track/manage PO expirations & related documentation, ensuring optimal business outcomes.
- Maintain master data for employees, customers, and vendors, facilitating seamless business operations.
- Liaise with state agencies for payroll, unemployment, and tax matters, resolving issues efficiently.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of U.S. accounting/bookkeeping experience (staffing/consulting preferred), with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, with advanced knowledge of financial concepts and theories.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
- Experience in payroll, AP/AR, and expense management, with proficiency in relevant software and systems.
- QuickBooks proficiency, with ability to leverage advanced features and functionality.
- Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and reconciliations.
- Excellent communication and attention to detail, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
