Senior Data Scientist Role

The key responsibility of this position entails a profound comprehension of data science methodologies and tools, including simulation model building principles, machine learning, and best practices.

This role involves the development and implementation of point forecasting and probabilistic forecasting models, as well as the creation of agent-based simulation models using Anylogic (preferably).

To execute these tasks effectively, one must employ statistical forecasting techniques such as ARIMA, THETA, and Exponential Smoothing, as well as machine learning-based forecasting techniques like GBM, LightGBM, XGBoost, and Linear Regression.

Additionally, deep learning-based forecasting techniques such as DeepAR, NBEATS, LSTM, and RNN should be utilized in conjunction with hierarchical forecasting and cross-validation techniques.

Requirements

A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Data Sciences, Engineering, or a quantitative related field is required for this position.

Moreover, a minimum of 5-9 years of experience as a Data Scientist in industry is essential.

Candidates should also possess proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
