Job Title: Travel Industry Expert

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced travel industry expert to join our team as a Holiday Consultant. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for creating customized holiday quotations, managing booking and in-trip customer issues, designing travel itineraries, and making travel arrangements.

Responsibilities
  • Create customized holiday quotations and contact suppliers for obtaining quotations
  • Manage booking and in-trip customer issues
  • Design travel itineraries and make travel arrangements
  • Assist and explain guests about their tour plan at the time of final handover
  • Resolve any problem that arises regarding the trip for the customer
  • Research destination and travel prices, customs, weather conditions, reviews, etc.
  • Plan and sell transportation, accommodations, insurance, and other travel services
  • Collect deposits and balances
  • Offer and promote different services and offerings
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on the latest industry trends
  • Attend webinars, conferences, and other educational programs
  • Deal with occurring travel problems, complaints, or refunds
  • Attend travel seminars to remain updated with tourism trends
  • Enter data into CRM software and maintain client files
  • Maintain statistical and financial records
Requirements and Skills

The ideal candidate will possess prior travel agency experience, a customer-oriented mindset, a bachelor's degree in travel and tourism or a relevant field, fluency in English, and basic computer skills and software like MS Office.
