**Data Engineering Position**

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to create, implement and operate robust and scalable data pipelines for business intelligence and machine learning.

The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and developing core data frameworks and key infrastructures. They will also be responsible for creating and supporting the ETL pipeline to get data flowing correctly from existing and new sources to our data warehouse.

Our Data Engineer will design and model data warehouses for efficient and cost-effective reporting, collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and other data consumers within the business to manage the data warehouse table structure and optimize it for reporting.

They will strive to improve software development process and team productivity by defining and implementing Data Governance processes related to data discovery, lineage, access control and quality assurance.

Responsibilities include performing code reviews and QA on data imported by various processes.

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in data engineering and data infrastructure space on big data technologies like Hive, Spark, Pyspark(Batch and Streaming), Airflow, Redshift and Delta Lake.
  • Experience in product-based companies or startups.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and the data ecosystem.

We are looking for someone with strong Design/Architecture experience architecting, developing, and maintaining solutions in AWS.

Experience building data pipelines and managing the pipelines after they're deployed is a must.

Understanding of Dev Ops would be preferable though not a must. Working knowledge of BI Tools like Metabase, and Power BI is a plus.

Previous experience in Databricks is a major plus.
