Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Visualization Expert to join our Commercial Analytics team in Finance GBS at Novo Nordisk. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI dashboards to visualize and present data in a clear and meaningful way.

As a Data Visualization Expert, you will work closely with stakeholders to understand their data visualization needs and requirements. You will create interactive and visually appealing dashboards using Power BI tools and features, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data in the dashboards by regularly updating and validating the underlying data sources.

You will also transform complex data sets into visually compelling and easy-to-understand reports and visualizations, identify and select appropriate data visualization techniques to effectively communicate insights and trends, and customize and format reports and visualizations to meet specific business needs and requirements.

Additionally, you will regularly review and update existing reports and visualizations to ensure they remain relevant and impactful, analyze large and complex data sets to identify patterns, trends, and insights, and apply analytical techniques to extract meaningful information from the data.

Finally, you will communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through reports, presentations, and data-driven recommendations.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
  • Proven experience of 5+ years in the commercial domain in designing and developing Power BI dashboards
  • Strong understanding of data visualization principles and techniques
  • Proficiency in Power BI tools and features
  • Experience with data analysis and generating insights from large data sets
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
