Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Agile Practitioner to lead our technical squads and foster a culture of continuous improvement. As a Technical Scrum Master, you will blend deep Agile expertise with a sound understanding of technical systems.

You will facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Additionally, you will guide the team in Agile best practices (Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid) and coach team members and stakeholders on Agile principles and delivery discipline.

Your technical awareness will be instrumental in enabling realistic planning, surfacing blockers early, and cultivating a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Agile Facilitation & Coaching: Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Guide the team in Agile best practices (Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid), fostering a mindset of continuous improvement.
  • Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile principles and delivery discipline.
  • Technical Project Delivery: Collaborate with Engineering Leads to plan sprint deliveries aligned with release schedules.
  • Track sprint progress using tools like Jira; ensure that technical debt, quality standards, and NFRs are part of planning.
  • Proactively identify delivery risks and technical blockers, driving resolution through collaboration.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison between Product Managers, Engineering, QA, and UX Designers to ensure alignment and smooth delivery.
  • Facilitate clarity in story definitions, handoffs, and design dependencies with the UX team.
  • Maintain sprint health metrics: velocity, burndown, cumulative flow, team capacity vs. output.
  • Use data to drive retrospectives and evolve sprint predictability and throughput.
