Advanced Analytics Expert

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist with over 3 years of experience to lead our Housing Finance team. This role focuses on applying advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to critical areas of credit risk assessment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Data Modeling: Design, develop, and implement advanced credit risk models using statistical and machine learning methods.
- Analytical Support: Provide analytical support for credit decisioning and portfolio risk management.
- Programming Skills: Leverage strong programming skills in Python/R and SQL to create scalable and robust risk solutions.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure models are validated, monitored, and integrated effectively into business processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in data science or risk modeling.
- Strong expertise in Python/R for data analysis and modeling, as well as SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Prior exposure to credit scoring or financial risk analytics is highly preferred.
- Solid knowledge of various machine learning methods.
Key Deliverables:
- Develop and deploy predictive models that minimize credit risk.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements and develop effective solutions.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
