Product Management Leader

We are seeking a dedicated professional who can define and execute product vision. The successful candidate will work with cross-functional teams to create, own, and improve strategic plans for the product.

  • This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team where you will be responsible for managing one or more modules within the AppViewX product line.
  • Strong product instincts, excellent communication skills, and technical fluency are essential qualities for this role.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in handling product backlogs, analyzing requirements, and working with cross-functional teams.
  • A self-starter with a "will get the job done" attitude and ability to bring humor to tough situations is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

  • Experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in cybersecurity is mandatory.
  • Previous experience in managing product backlogs, writing user stories, and collaborating with Engineering and Program Management is required.
  • Ability to understand product vision and customer requirements to drive product backlog grooming and development is crucial.
  • Active participation in sprint planning and backlog grooming is expected.
  • Translating business problems into solutions through user stories, requirements, and relevant specs is essential.
  • Ability to articulate customer and business value across all levels of the organization is required.
  • Establishing strong relationships with customers and conducting effective advisory sessions is a key responsibility.
  • Collaboration with UX/UI to build great products with an eye for design is also required.
  • Developing compelling presentations and prototypes to communicate the product story is an important skill.
  • Interface with Business/Marketing team to conduct product demonstrations, evaluate, prioritize and build new features and tools.
  • Knowledge of agile development process, Sprints management, utilizing process tools to track features, enhancements, bugs, user stories, and acceptance criteria is necessary.
  • Working with cross-functional teams from diverse disciplines including engineers, designers, and business owners to drive the launch of the product is a key objective.
  • Identifying and understanding market trends related to the products managed and possessing general business awareness of AppViewX and its competition.
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and work with people across different levels within an organization.
