Role Overview

A leadership position in Physiotherapy Education is available, seeking an accomplished academic and administrative expert to spearhead excellence in teaching, clinical practice, research, and professional development.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, implementation, and monitoring of academic programs, ensuring alignment with University, UGC, and statutory council norms. This includes supervising curriculum development, teaching methodologies, and continuous assessment, guiding faculty in research, publications, and participation in academic forums, as well as ensuring effective clinical training and integration with hospital services.

  • Key Responsibilities

  • Oversight of Academic Programs

    • Plan, implement, and monitor academic programs to ensure compliance with University, UGC, and statutory council norms.
    • Supervise curriculum development, teaching methodologies, and continuous assessment to promote academic excellence.
    • Guide faculty in research, publications, and participation in academic forums to foster a culture of innovation and knowledge sharing.
    • Evaluate and improve academic programs to ensure they meet the needs of students, industry, and society.

  • Administrative & Managerial Leadership

    • Provide strategic direction and oversight to the day-to-day administration of the Physiotherapy College/Department.
    • Maintain compliance with statutory regulations (UGC, State Council, University guidelines) to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by recruiting, mentoring, and evaluating faculty and staff performance.
    • Develop and manage budgets, resources, and infrastructure to support the growth and development of the department.

  • Quality & Compliance Assurance

    • Ensure adherence to accreditation standards (NABH, NAAC, etc.) to maintain the highest level of quality in education and patient care.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of academic, clinical, and administrative activities to facilitate audits, inspections, and approvals from governing bodies.
