Job Title:

Assistant Manager

Job Summary:
  • The role involves driving the implementation of master plans across various departments and leading change management processes to maintain alignment within the site's supply chain.

This includes developing and driving the implementation of site master plans for Malt plant, HBS, and IMFL packaging hall at a departmental level. You will set objectives and priorities as part of the site leadership team and lead change management processes for the department.

Maintaining alignment between all parts of the site's supply chain by coordinating departments to work together in master plan deployment is essential.

About the Role:
  • You will demonstrate managerial leadership to develop teams against role capabilities.
  • Ensure effective implementation of training & development programmes by aligning site/line management.
  • C coordinate Totalisation of Training and evaluation programmes to maintain consistency of approach and ensure alignment with Diageo Capability programme.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Providing expert loss & waste leadership and coaching to operational teams.
  • Participating in and leading improvement projects using the DMAIC methodology.
  • Engaging with Daily Operational Review meetings to provide expert analysis of performance improvement opportunities.
  • Developing specific manufacturing performance improvement initiatives to optimize cost, eliminate waste, and improve operational flexibility.
