Senior Cloud Engineering Director

Job Description

As a seasoned Senior Cloud Engineering Director, you will lead our team of cloud-native web applications experts. Your mission is to drive the development and implementation of cutting-edge cloud solutions that deliver exceptional results.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and timelines. Ensure seamless communication and coordination among stakeholders to guarantee successful project delivery.

Drive automation initiatives to enhance process efficiency and continuously improve quality standards. Foster a culture of innovation and knowledge-sharing within the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain expertise in cloud-based infrastructure and microservices architecture.
  • Provide technical guidance on cloud engineering best practices and ensure adherence to industry standards.
  • Lead the design and delivery of enterprise-grade cloud solutions.
  • Partner with Product Management, Architects, Operations, and Release Management to ensure effective launch and delivery of projects.
  • Grow and manage the skills and talent in the team by investing in training and professional development opportunities.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive issue escalation and resolution.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Must possess a strong background in software development and engineering management, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects within budgeted time, cost, and quality standards.

Experience in microservice architecture, domain-driven design, and RESTful Services using languages such as Java, Node, or Go.

Hands-on experience in managing and rolling out React Native, Android, and iOS applications.

Extensive experience managing projects with Agile Scrum methodology and hands-on knowledge of design and coding.

Must have excellent problem-solving skills, be highly motivated, and passionate about delivery and customer satisfaction.

Strong organization, communication, and planning skills are essential for success in this role.
