Job Opportunity: Experienced Data Engineer Needed

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Data Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data integration and management, with expertise in cloud-based services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines using Python, Apache Spark, and other relevant tools. They will also work closely with cross-functional teams to develop data ingestion pipelines from heterogeneous sources and deliver data from the cloud platform for various consumption use cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain large-scale data pipelines using Python, Apache Spark, and other relevant tools.
  • Develop data ingestion pipelines from heterogeneous sources such as databases, files, APIs, and streaming platforms.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver data from the cloud platform for various consumption use cases.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure code accuracy and well-architected architecture and implementation.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies in data engineering.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in cloud data integration and management.
  • Hands-on development experience in AWS Glue, Lambda functions, CloudFormation, PySpark, and SQL.
  • Strong understanding of data engineering concepts and hands-on experience with ETL tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff.
  • Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects and tight timelines.
