Big Data Engineering Position

The role of Big Data Engineer is a highly sought-after position in the industry.

As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing large-scale data solutions using cutting-edge technologies such as Apache Spark and Scala. Your expertise will play a crucial role in driving business growth by extracting insights from complex data sets.

Key Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Big Data Engineer or similar role.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Scala programming and SQL.
  • Experience in designing, modifying, and implementing solutions for ingesting, provisioning, and processing data in Hadoop Data Lake for batch and streaming workloads using Scala & Apache Spark.
  • Experience in debugging, optimization, and performance tuning of Spark jobs.
  • Able to translate functional requirements/user stories into technical solutions.
  • Good experience in developing and debugging complex SQL queries to derive business-critical insights.
  • Development experience in any of the cloud services: AWS/Azure/GCP is a plus.
