About the Role

StepOne is seeking an experienced Senior 3D Designer with a strong background in event industries to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in designing exhibition booths, stages, and event venues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Booth Design: The successful candidate will lead the design process for exhibition booths, ensuring they are creative, on-brand, and meet client specifications.
  • Stage Design: They will design impactful stage setups for conferences, product launches, and live events, working closely with the production team to ensure designs are feasible and meet technical requirements.
  • Event Venue Layouts: The designer will conceptualize and design layouts for event venues, ensuring the flow of space is optimized for audience engagement, brand presence, and functionality.
  • Client Collaboration: They will collaborate with clients to understand their vision, goals, and brand identity, providing expert design advice and solutions to elevate their event experience.
  • 3D Modeling & Visualization: Utilizing industry-standard software, the designer will create detailed visualizations and interactive walkthroughs of event designs.
  • Design Development: They will develop comprehensive design plans, including color schemes, materials, textures, and lighting, producing high-quality renderings and presentations to communicate concepts effectively.
  • Project Management: The designer will oversee multiple design projects simultaneously, managing timelines, resources, and deadlines, ensuring that all designs are completed on time and within budget.
  • Trend Awareness: They will stay updated on industry trends, emerging design technologies, and creative techniques, bringing fresh ideas to the design process.
  • Candidate Requirements:
    • Experience: At least 3+ years of experience as a 3D designer, with a focus on event, exhibition, booth, stage, or venue design, and a portfolio showcasing previous projects.
    • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in 3D design software such as 3ds Max, AutoCAD, Blender, Cinema 4D, SketchUp, and familiarity with drawing tools.
    • Creativity & Vision: Strong creative skills with the ability to develop unique and innovative designs, a keen eye for detail, aesthetics, and functionality.
    • Collaboration Skills: Ability to work effectively within a team and liaise with clients, production, and technical teams to bring designs to life.
    • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and justify design concepts to clients and stakeholders.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a dynamic work environment that fosters creativity and innovation.
