Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced administrator to support the setup, administration, and monitoring of Windchill environments.

This position offers the opportunity to work across core Windchill administration responsibilities while also contributing to specialized tasks that support the overall PLM landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administration: Perform Windchill base and user administration, including account setup, access rights, and daily system management.
  • Operations and Monitoring: Manage operations and monitoring of Windchill environments to ensure system performance and reliability.
  • CAD & Non-CAD Workers: Configure, operate, and monitor CAD & non-CAD workers (Creo, BricsCad, Office Workers).
  • Interface Landscape Operations: Support Windchill interface landscape operations and troubleshooting.
  • System Setup and Environment Cloning: Execute system setup, environment cloning, preparation, and rehosting (creation of development and non-productive environments using KB methodology).
  • Solr Indexing Operations: Manage Solr indexing operations, including configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and bulk reindexing.
  • Data Storage: Administer file servers and vaults for secure and efficient data storage.
  • Queue Management: Perform queue management to optimize system efficiency.
  • Solution Architecture Tasks: Contribute to solution architecture tasks (~50% of the role) within PLM infrastructure for specialized areas.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide focused expertise in modules/processes such as database basics, scripting, and targeted troubleshooting.
  • Evolving Requirements: Adapt to evolving requirements and take ownership of specialized tasks as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • PLM Windchill Administration: Proven experience in PLM Windchill administration and support.
  • System Setup and Configuration: Strong knowledge of system setup, configuration, monitoring, and rehosting.
  • CAD/Non-CAD Worker Configuration: Hands-on experience with CAD/Non-CAD worker configuration and support.
  • Databases, Scripting, and Troubleshooting: Familiarity with databases, scripting, and troubleshooting.
  • Solr Indexing, File Server/Vault Administration, and Queue Management: Experience with Solr indexing, file server/vault administration, and queue management.
  • Analytical, Problem-Solving, and Communication Skills: Ability to work independently on well-defined specialized tasks while supporting broader administration responsibilities.
  • Open-Mindedness and Adaptability: Open-mindedness and adaptability to embrace new tasks and technologies.
