Job Opportunity:

SAP Basis administrators are essential for maintaining and optimizing SAP systems.

  • This role involves working as a primary contact for client bridge calls, ensuring clear communication and timely issue resolution.
  • Administrators will monitor and tune SAP systems for optimal performance and availability.
  • Providing end-to-end technical support for SAP environments, including ABAP and JAVA systems with expertise in BOBJ, BODS, Cloud Connector, Content Server, and OpenText is an advantage.
  • Managers must oversee SSL and SSO configurations, certificate exchange, renewal, and trust establishment between systems.
  • Transport and printer administration, job scheduling, and system operations planning are key responsibilities.
  • Maintaining multiple SAP instances (development, test, training, and production) to ensure environment stability and integrity is crucial.
  • The administrator will oversee SAP Correction and Transport System (CTS) to manage configuration and development object movements across systems.
  • Implementing technical changes using structured methodologies to minimize risks while ensuring system reliability, availability, and performance is a must.
  • Configuring and managing SAP printing subsystems across all instances is also required.
  • Planning and executing SAP performance tuning strategies to maintain system efficiency is a vital task.
  • Monitoring system health, including work processes, logs, short dumps, locks, traces, and disk space usage is critical.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills with ability to coordinate effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Basis administration in both ABAP and JAVA systems.
  • Knowledge of SAP web dispatcher configuration is necessary.
  • Proficiency in SSL/SSO setup and certificate management.
  • Experience with SAP performance monitoring, tuning, and upgrades is required.
