The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Consultant Expert to join our team as a Senior Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, conducting due diligence, and challenging credit ratings and limits.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Researching and analyzing financial data to prepare high-quality analysis on clients' credit risk and transaction risk.
  • Performing risk assessments, including conducting due diligence when required.
  • Effectively challenging credit ratings and limits as proposed by the first line of defense.
  • Monitoring risk exposures and counterparty creditworthiness across various metrics and indicators.
  • Raising alerts as necessary to the business, first line of defense, and 2nd line of defense management.
  • Reviewing or proposing risk mitigation strategies when deemed necessary.
  • Presenting recommendations for risk limits, one-off transactions, and credit ratings to risk officers with delegations.
  • Coordinating credit requests, liaising with Business Lines, Legal staff, Global advisory divisions, and other stakeholders.
  • Contributing to transversal analysis and projects, such as reviewing methodologies or CCR management processes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of overall credit analysis experience in a Financial Institution space.
  • CA degree/MBA (in Finance) from a reputed institution.
  • Additional certification like Financial Risk Management (FRM) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) is a plus.
