Production Manager Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Production Manager to oversee the production process and ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate will have expertise in equipment qualification, cGMP, and GDP standards.

Job Summary
The Production Manager will be responsible for assessing production sheets related to process, planning & scheduling of material requisition, creation of Bill of Materials (BOM). This includes taking trials batches for new introduced products for registration, ensuring all routine production activities are performed effectively, reviewing and verifying production documents as per production Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) on a regular basis, maintaining compliance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), and supporting the execution of qualification activities for areas, equipment/systems, and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Assess production sheets related to process, planning & scheduling of material requisition, creation of BOM.
2. Take trials batches for new introduced products for registration.
3. Ensure all routine production activities are performed effectively.
4. Review and verify production documents as per production SOPs on a regular basis.
5. Maintain compliance with cGMP.
6. Support the execution of qualification activities for areas, equipment/systems, and processes.
7. Install and qualify new equipment/utility systems in line with cGMP.
8. Maintain data integrity/quality policies/systems and records as per cGMP and GDP Standards.
9. Coordinate with the purchase department for timely delivery of items.
10. Effectively communicate with manufacturing staff for efficiency and performance improvement.

Requirements:
Experience of Equipment Qualification (DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ). Knowledge of cGMP and GDP Standards. Ability to maintain data integrity and quality policies/systems.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Minimum 5 years of experience in production management. Skills: Quality control, quality analysis, project management, communication.
