We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our high-performance eTrading systems team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining low-latency distributed applications supporting market making, pricing, and algo trading activities.

This is an opportunity to collaborate with quants, traders, and engineers to build cutting-edge distributed tools. It also provides the chance to grow and lead the team within the department.

The ideal candidate has deep expertise in C++, multithreaded programming in Linux environments, strong grasp of algorithms, and performance optimization.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining real-time distributed applications for pricing/risk/algo/market making framework, integration with analytical library, eTrading platform, and other applications in the Front office compute stack.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and deliver robust solutions.
  • Maintaining and extending CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery and integration of software.
  • Supporting production systems and participating in on-call rotations as needed.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience developing real-time applications in C++ (C++11 or newer).
  • Deep understanding of Linux-based systems programming and performance tuning.
  • Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and computational complexity.
  • Proven experience with multithreading, concurrency, and inter-process communication.
  • Experience with Boost libraries and Visual Studio Code.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD practices and tools.
  • Experience building or supporting distributed systems in a low-latency environment.

Desirable qualifications:

  • Familiarity with fixed income products, such as bonds or interest rate derivatives.
  • Prior experience in investment banking or proprietary trading firms.
  • Understanding of market data feeds, order management systems, and electronic trading protocols.
  • Programming skills in Java and scripting languages like Python or Bash.
  • Knowledge of tick databases like KDB.

Education/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
