About the Role
  • The Vice-Principal is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing academic administration, school discipline, curriculum management, team management, student engagement, staff development, policies and procedures, parent relations, and teaching responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Academic Administration: Assist the Principal in academic duties and oversee the overall administration of the school.
  • School Discipline: Ensure a positive and supportive learning environment and handle discipline-related issues effectively.
  • Curriculum Management: Develop and implement curricula that meet CBSE standards, and manage academic resources and supplies.
  • Team Management: Supervise a team of coordinators and staff, and ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members.
  • Student Engagement: Foster a love for learning among students, and plan engaging activities and events to promote student development.
  • Staff Development: Provide training and support to staff to enhance their teaching skills and knowledge.
  • Policies and Procedures: Ensure that all school policies and procedures are implemented effectively, and communicate them clearly to staff and parents.
  • Parent Relations: Build strong relationships with parents, and address any concerns or issues they may have.
  • Teaching: Teach select subjects on a regular basis, as per academic settings.
  • Liaison: Handle liaison work with CBSE, state, and local authorities, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 10+ years of experience in teaching and academic administration, with a proven track record in CBSE-affiliated schools.
  • A post-graduate degree with B.Ed, and excellent communication and IT skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of CBSE compliances and other state and local regulations.
  • Good liaison and public relations skills.
