Chief Academic Officer for Financial Markets
Job Summary:The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with experience in academia, research management, or financial services industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute the long-term vision and strategy of the Centre.
- Formulate programs and initiatives aligned with the Centre's mandate in financial markets research and education.
- Provide support for research projects, working papers, and good publications in financial markets and related areas.
- Support faculty-led research, student engagement, and visiting scholar initiatives.
- Organize training programs, workshops, seminars, conferences, and certificate courses.
- Build partnerships with financial institutions, statutory bodies, regulatory institutions, industry associations, and other organizations.
- Organize seminars, panel discussions, and talks/lectures by industry experts.
- Manage day-to-day administration of the Centre including budgeting, reporting, and resource planning.
- Supervise support staff, interns, and research associates.
- Oversee the Centre's visibility (online and offline), including publications, newsletters, and website updates.
- Represent the Centre at conferences, academic forums, and industry meetings.
